Does stress affect fertility?

🛑 Stress plays a major part when it comes to fertility and pregnancy.

🛑 It can change your menstrual cycle, affect ovulation and can drastically decrease your S*E*X drive.

🛑 If you're very stressed, it will very likely take longer for you to get pregnant , even when you undergo IVF treatments. Your body knows stressful periods arent the best times to have a baby.

🛑 Stay away from people who cause you lots of stress, especially when you're trying for a baby.

🛑 Take care of your body by exercising, eating well and staying well rested. It really helps a lot.

🛑 If you're overweight, try to lose weight the right way. Being overweight affects pregnancy chances a lot and increases the risk of miscarriages. Don't use drugs and herbs to lose weight ❗.Exercise and eat healthy. You might get pregnant unexpectedly and these drugs might affect your baby.

🛑 Find interesting things to do to help you release stress.

🛑 Let your partner join you in activities that can help both of you release stress. Trying for a baby can be very stressful for both of you .

🛑 You can also behave like you're dating instead of being married ( if you're married). It does bring back intimacy and reduce tension.

🛑 Dont forget to take your prenatal vitamins.

🛑 Treat your body right. If you do, she will treat you right back too.

❗ If you're the cause of people's stress , please mind your own business. Its not your womb that's going to carry the pregnancy.

❗If you're 35yrs and below and have been trying for a year or more , or above 35 and have been trying for more than 6 months, see a fertility specialist to help you out.

❗Go with your partner to make things easier, just in case you aren't the source of the problem.

❗ If you're above 35, always seek advice from a fertility specialist when you decide to begin trying for a baby. Pregnancy is more difficult after 35 and you might need some help.
